LOS ANGELES, CA — One person was hospitalized after authorities responded to a reported shooting on the 10 Freeway Wednesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report of shots fired on the freeway near Hoover Street, just west of downtown Los Angeles, at around 12:26 a.m., a CHP spokesman told Patch.
One victim was transported from the scene to a local hospital. The extent and nature of the injuries were unclear.
The station reported that officers blocked off Hoover Street near the freeway and appeared to be interviewing people in the area.
No freeway closures were reported.
