Person Struck With Gun In Argument In Terryville: Police

TERRYVILLE, NY — A Selden man struck a person with a handgun in an argument in Terryville on Sunday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

The person was struck at a location on Kyra Court at around 3 p.m. and reported suffering pain from the assault, though it is not clear if they required medical attention.

Rudy Nunez, 20, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, according to police.

He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip on Monday, online court records show.

His bail was set at $100,000, $200,000 insured bond, and $750,000 partially secured surety bond, and a temporary order of protection was also issued, according to the records.

A Legal Aid Society attorney has been assigned to his case.
