NYPD officer shot and injured in Brownsville, police say
The NYPD is responding to a shooting in Brownsville where an officer was injured Monday, according to officials.
Authorities said the shooting happened around 7:45 a.m. on Thomas S. Boyland Street near Linden Boulevard.
The officer was reported in stable condition and police said they were investigating whether he fired his weapon.
