Woman killed in University City hit-and-run while walking to work with coworkers near Drexel University campus in Philadelphia
A woman was killed in an early morning hit-and-run in Philadelphia's University City section on Thursday.
Police say the 48-year-old woman was walking to work with some coworkers near Drexel University's campus when she was struck.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday in the 3300 block of Market Street.
She was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say they are looking for a Silver colored Chrysler 300, with tinted windows, that was last seen crossing 33rd St.
