A woman detained in connection with a deadly shooting at a Vacaville gas station on Sunday claims she was acting in self-defense, according to the police department. Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the area of the ARCO gas station at Leisure Town Road and Orange Drive on Sunday evening. Watch previous coverage in the video player above.One man, later identified as 42-year-old Jason Demar Robinson of San Francisco, was pronounced dead at the scene. Vacaville police on Friday said the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a violent confrontation between Robinson and a woman, and the two had previously been in a romantic relationship. The woman told investigators she acted in self-defense, officials said, and a firearm was recovered at the scene. The police department said the woman was not injured. Vacaville police said the case remains under investigation, and evidence will be submitted to the Solano County District Attorney's Office for review.
