Woman accused of accessory to a felony in deadly Omaha shooting will go to trial
A woman accused of being an accessory to a felony in the shooting death of a 22-year-old man will go to trial.Prosecutors said Mercy Mendoza-Gutierrez helped the suspect get away from the scene near 120th and Miami streets in July.Sirr Bonner died at the hospital from his injuries.Mendoza-Gutierrez waived her preliminary hearing and was bound over to district court for trial.Investigators arrested a 15-year-old for second-degree murder in the case.NAVIGATE: Home | Weather | Local News | National | Sports | Newscasts on demand |
