Wicker Park, Chicago shooting today: Man found shot to death in 1500-block of North Honore Street, police department says
A man was found shot to death on Chicago's Northwest Side early Saturday morning, police said.
Police said officers responded to a call about a person shot in the Wicker Park neighborhood's 1500-block of North Honore Street just after 1:45 a.m.
There, officers found a man who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
The victim, who police believe was between 18 and 25 years old, was transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There is no one in custody, and Area Five detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
