A Vineland, New Jersey, man accused of fatally stabbing his grandfather was arrested Wednesday near Villanova University.
Authorities say Shawn Moir, 26, was taken into custody around 1 p.m. at a parking garage near the Pennsylvania campus. U.S. Marshals first spotted a black Chevy Tahoe that Moir allegedly stole from the victim, 59-year-old Albert Moir, after the murder.
Shawn Moir was arrested without incident and is facing murder and weapons charges, the Marshals Service said.
The victim was found stabbed to death with a kitchen knife around 1 p.m. Tuesday inside a home on the 3000 block of Diamond Drive in Vineland.
Moir is currently being held in Radnor Township pending extradition to South Jersey.
