Video shows possible suspect in handcuffs after shooting that injured Omaha police officer

KETV has obtained video of one person being taken away in handcuffs from the scene of a shooting that injured an Omaha police officer.The officer was shot and injured at the QuikTrip near 120th and West Dodge Road around 6 a.m. Monday.First responders took the officer to the hospital for critical injuries. KETV crews witnessed responders taking the officer into an ambulance in the QuikTrip parking lot.At 7 a.m., Douglas County dispatch confirmed to KETV that law enforcement found the suspect at a McDonald's on West Dodge Road.We blurred the person's identity — it's our policy to wait until police officially release a suspect's image or someone is charged.The video was taken by a witness at the scene of the McDonald's at 114th and Dodge.Officials said medical personnel did not take the second victim to the hospital.
