Video was released Wednesday showing a deadly confrontation between Chicago police and suspected burglars earlier this year.
This happened back on Sept. 6 near the 800-block of North Waller Avenue in South Austin.
Police were responding to reports of a burglary when they say they found a car with people inside who matched the description of the burglars.
As police tried to stop the vehicle, the vehicle slammed into them.
The whole incident was captured by body cameras and in-car cameras.
ABC7 Chicago froze the video before the deadly gunshots were fired.
From the dash camera perspective, the car appears to back into one of the officers.
He then fires his gun several times.
Police say one man died at a nearby hospital.
Another was arrested, and a third managed to get away.
Two CPD officers suffered injuries, as well.
A gun was found at the scene.
