Uber driver killed: Chicago shooting kills Jassen Cho, passenger Damarion Johnson; person of interest released without charges

Chicago police say a person of interest in a deadly Garfield Park shooting has been released without charges.

The investigation remains ongoing.

ABC7 obtained exclusive video last week showing the moments around the shooting .

It happened just before 8:30 p.m. on May 7 in the 200-block of North Homan Avenue.

Someone opened fire on a car, killing 18-year-old passenger Damarion Johnson and 38-year-old driver Jassen Cho.

Cho's visitation and funeral are happening on Friday at Gurnee Salata Funeral Home.

Visitation starts at 10 a.m., and a celebration of life will follow at Hotel Ten in Gurnee.
