
A lockdown was lifted at a Turlock school after officers investigated a potential shooting nearby, according to the police department. Around 4 p.m. Monday, Turlock police said it was responding to a possible shooting in the 700 block of Lambert Way. Officials said Osborn Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution. Minutes later, the police department said the lockdown was lifted.One person was detained in connection with the investigation, officials said.It's not immediately clear if anyone was injured. Turlock police urged the public to avoid the area as officers continued to investigate.This is a developing story.
