A Tulare County gas station clerk is recovering after being shot in the arm during an armed robbery.
The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to the Traver Market off Merritt Drive around 9 p.m. Friday.
Deputies say two masked men, aged between 18 to 25 years old, walked into the store and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.
As the suspects were leaving, gunfire was exchanged and the clerk was struck in the arm.
They were taken to the hosptal and are expected to recover.
