Teenager pleads no contest to assault in north Omaha shooting

A teenager reached a plea deal in a 2024 shooting that injured a woman in Omaha. Say Paw, 15, was charged as an adult and pleaded no contest to two counts of second-degree felony assault. Omaha police said 22-year-old Jazlynn Espinoza pulled out the gun to defend her husband. One of the teens and Nwet shot Espinoza, investigators said. She was taken to the hospital.
