The lockdown has since been lifted, allowing students to return home. One juvenile was arrested on campus in connection with the shooting, while another was arrested off campus, officials said. "This is devastating," said Jon Sasaki, spokesperson for the Oakland Unified School District. "This is not what any of us ever wants to see at any of our schools. We don't want to see our kids affected by violence like this."It's unclear what led up to the shooting. The Oakland Unified School District said classes would resume as normal on Thursday, but there would be additional security on campus.
