Stratford Shooting Victim Also Arrested: Police

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Stratford man

Omar Reid, who suffered a leg injury in the June 23 shooting, was arrested by Fairfield police on a warrant charging him with sale of a narcotic substance, and possession of a controlled substance, according to Sgt. Jenna Wellington.

"During the course of the investigation, it was determined that [Reid] was in Fairfield to conduct an illegal transaction," Wellington told Patch.

The two men had an "an ongoing dispute," according to Wellington.

"Everyone that was involved in this incident [have been] arrested." Wellington said. "We don't have anything else to add, but just want to further emphasize that this was an isolated incident and that there is no further risk to the Fairfield Community."

CT Insider reported that Rosado and Reid had an ongoing feud

Reid, who was arrested on April 15, is free after posting bond on bail of $25,000, and he is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Thursday.

Rosado remains in custody on bail of $350,000, and his next court date is April 29.
