Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who crashed into a car before hitting a woman in the Loop on Monday evening.
Police said the crash happened just before 7 p.m. on Randolph Steet, near State Street.
The driver of a silver sedan was heading westbound on Randolph Street when they hit a black sedan before jumping the curb onto the sidewalk, police said.
The silver sedan then hit a woman, who was walking on the sidewalk.
The woman, 36, suffered injuries to her hips and lower back, police said. She was taken to Northwestern Hospital in fair condition.
The black sedan's driver, a 30-year-old woman, was not injured.
The silver sedan's driver fled the scene.
Officials say that vehicle was reported stolen during an incident around noon Sunday in the Englewood neighborhood's 6000-block of South Green Street.
Area Three detectives are investigating.
