
Officials on Tuesday are expected to provide updates on the Stockton mass shooting that left four people dead and 13 more injured during a 2-year-old's birthday.Since the Nov. 29 shooting at Lucile Avenue and Thornton Road, no information has been publicly released on the person or people believed to be responsible for the attack at a gathering where anywhere between 100 to 150 people were in attendance.The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office, the lead agency investigating, will provide information on where the investigation stands. That briefing will take place during the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors.The sheriff's office is also expected to clarify whether there was one or multiple shooters. Early on in the investigation, San Joaquin County Sheriff Patrick Withrow stated he believed that there were multiple gunmen and that he felt confident law enforcement would capture those responsible.However, the sheriff's office would later say that it is concerned that witnesses are not being forthcoming with information. The cash reward has also increased in recent days, swelling to $130,000 total from multiple groups and agencies. Stockton Crime Stoppers is offering up to $55,000. People can leave an anonymous tip at 209-946-0600. The FBI Sacramento division is also offering a separate $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shooting.The Youth Peace & Justice Foundation, which was created after the deadly school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, also said it would offer a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect or suspects. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced it is offering an additional $20,000 cash reward. Three children and a young adult died from the shooting.
