Standoff after shots allegedly fired on Philly police responding to woman shot
A standoff situation is ongoing in the Logan section of Philadelphia Sunday night.
Video from the Citizen app shows the strong police response on the 5100 block of North 10th Street.
Police officers came under fire after responding to reports of a woman being shot just before 8:30 p.m.
A barricade situation was immediately declared as the suspect allegedly fired shots from a second floor window and officers returned fire
Action News has learned that a woman was shot and was able to escape from a second floor window.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No word on her condition.
Officials say no officers have been hit by gunfire.
