Shootout at after-hours club injures security guard in Philadelphia's Juniata Park section
A shootout outside an after-hours club in Philadelphia's Juniata section sent a security guard to the hospital.
The incident happened early Monday morning outside the La H Social Club on the 900 block of East Hunting Park Avenue.
Police say a security guard had originally broken up a fight inside the club.
The suspects then returned around 4:30 a.m. and opened fire on him.
According to investigators, two men in a nearby car thought they were being shot at, so both of them started shooting as well.
The security guard was shot in the stomach.
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say all of the suspects are in custody.
No other injuries have been reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
