Shooting at Visalia restaurant leaves one dead, two hospitalized, police say

Police officers responded to reports of a shooting at Sebby's, a restaurant on Main near Garden Street, shortly before 2:00 a.m.

Officers found multiple people shot. They say it happened after a fight broke out inside the restaurant.

Three people were taken to the hospital, where one of the victims died from their injuries.

There is no word yet on any arrests or the conditions of the two other victims.

The Visalia Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is conducting an ongoing investigation.

The scene remains active, and both Main Street and Garden Street will be closed for hours.
