Rockland County man killed in Queens over bicycle dispute, police say

A 22-year-old man from Rockland County was fatally stabbed during a dispute over a bicycle in the Corona section of Queens early Monday, police said.

Anderson Archila-Martinez, of Spring Valley, was found just after midnight at the intersection of Junction Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue with a stab wound to the stomach, according to the NYPD.

Officers responded to a 911 call at 12:47 a.m., and EMS transported Archila-Martinez to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officials said the fight broke out near Roosevelt Avenue and a 33-year-old man was taken into custody for questioning.

An NYPD spokesperson said the stabbing remains under investigation.
