Queens boy shot: 16-year-old boy shot in chest in Hollis Hills; police searching for suspect
Police are searching for a suspect after a teen boy was shot in Queens on Tuesday.
Officials say a 16-year-old boy was shot in the chest just before 3 p.m. in the Hollis Hills section.
He was taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center. Officials say he was alert and semi-conscious while being rushed to the hospital.
Police say the suspect was with a group.
He opened fire and fled in the direction of a gas station.
