Police Seeking Info On Shooting At Home On Long Island

LONG ISLAND, NY — A home on Long Island was shot at on April 11, Suffolk police said Wednesday in a post to social media.

The home, which is on Hickory Road in Mastic Beach, was shot at around 2:45 a.m., and detectives from the 7th Precinct in Shirley are investigating, according to police. Detectives are asking residents to review their video surveillance footage and to check for any vehicle or pedestrian activity in the area, police said.

Of "particular interest" is a light-colored SUV seen on Hickory Road around the time of the shooting, according to the post.
