Police searching for 2 masked gunmen after 6 teens shot in East New York, Brooklyn

Police are searching for the suspects accused of shooting six teenagers in Brooklyn early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. outside a venue on Atlantic Avenue in East New York.

Upon arrival, responding officers found four boys and two girls with gunshot wounds. The victims are between 15-17 years old.

First responders transported the victims to nearby hospitals in stable condition.

Exclusive surveillance video obtained by Eyewitness News shows two masked men, dressed in black and wearing surgical masks, that police are looking to track down in connection to the shooting.

Following the incident, the venue, Burbuja Events, issued a statement on social media about the shooting.

"Burbuja Events hosted a Sweet Sixteen celebration that concluded at approximately 1:00 a.m. Approximately 20 minutes after the event ended, a tragic incident occurred outside of our event space, at the corner of Ashford Street, facing Atlantic Avenue," the venue said.

"Burbuja Events wishes to clarify that no shots were fired inside the venue, and the incident took place entirely outside our premises."

The venue said it is fully cooperating with authorities and remains in communication with the NYPD 75th Precinct and the Brooklyn North Night Watch about the incident.

There are currently no arrests as authorities try to determine what led up to the shooting.
