San Francisco police say an aggressive dog charged at them multiple times in what led up to a police shooting earlier this month.
The incident happened on Nov. 9 in the area of Market and O'Farrell streets.
Police said officers were flagged down by someone who said a large off-leash dog bit them and was continuing to show aggression to others.
According to the department, officers were attempting to detain the subject and secure the dog, before the shooting occurred.
On Tuesday, police gave an update on the incident, saying the husky showed aggression and its owner was not compliant.

"I'm gonna shoot your dog, man," the officer says in the newly-released bodycam video.
"No, you're not," the dog's owner said.
"Yes, you're under arrest. Get over here or your dog's gonna get shot," the officer responds.
The man threw a plastic bottle at the officer and his dog charged at police.
The dog fled from the area and then came back and bit an officer, according to police. Animal control arrived and took the dog. The officer was treated at the scene.
The dog and its owner ended up being shot.
Both survived.
ABC San Francisco affiliate KGO previously reported that the shooting was being investigated by the District Attorney's Office, SFPD Internal Affairs, and the Department of Police Accountability. If the man who was shot was unarmed, the shooting may be investigated by the California Department of Justice as well.
