Police investigate after armed intruder breaks into Olney home

A masked armed intruder broke into a family's home in the city's Olney section early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the 500 block of Marwood Road just after midnight.

The family told police the masked man, carrying a silver handgun, entered their home and tied them up.

Police say the intruder stole $1,000 in cash and left.

They are still looking for the suspect.
