Police identify teen killed in north Omaha shooting Tuesday
A teenager died and 20-year-old was injured after a shooting in north Omaha on Tuesday morning.Officers responded to 51st and Emmet streets for reports of a shooting around 10:28 a.m., according to authorities.Omaha police said officers found a Shalamar Davis Jr., 15, and a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds near 52nd and Pinkney streets.Authorities said that Davis was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition where he died.
