Police chase ends in deadly crash in Placentia
At least one person was killed Wednesday evening after a chase ended in a violent crash in Placentia, police said.
The crash happened near the intersection of Madison and Bradford avenues.
Anaheim police were pursuing a driver, although it's unclear whether the person who died was involved in the chase.
AIR7 footage showed a heavily damaged car on the sidewalk with debris scattered across the road. Two other vehicles with significant damage were stopped nearby.
Police did not immediately release further details, including what led to the pursuit.
Several patrol cars were at the scene as an investigation was underway.
