Pokémon shop robbed of $100,000 in merchandise by armed burglars in Manhattan

An investigation is underway following an armed robbery at a Pokémon shop in Manhattan Wednesday night.

NYPD officials say officers responded to a 911 call for three males wearing masks robbing the Poké Court at 412 W. 13th St.

An employee told Eyewitness News that over $100,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from the store.

They said the suspects kept everyone in the store while the robbery occurred, and were holding a gun and hammers.

The shop sells Pokémon cards and card accessories, as well as Pokémon-inspired lifestyle goods and curated artist creations.

No further details have been provided.
