Pico Rivera shooting at Shell gas station leaves 1 person dead, Los Angeles sheriff's detectives investigating

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives are investigating the deadly shooting of a man at a gas station in Pico Rivera.

The victim was shot multiple times near a Shell gas station in the 9400 block of Washington Boulevard at about 8:56 p.m. Thursday, according to LASD.

The victim was taken to a hospital by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics, where he was pronounced dead.

LASD said it does not believe the victim was a customer at the gas station.

Authorities have not yet determined a motive for the shooting. A suspect description has not been released.
