Two paramedics who came under gunfire while responding to a call in North Philadelphia were recognized for their bravery.
Paramedics Zachary Weinstein and Mitchell Valentin said they were dispatched last May to Berks and Ringgold streets for a report of a shooting victim.
As they approached the scene, gunfire erupted nearby.
"He was close, within 15 feet. He was close... he was really close," the medics recalled.
Christie Ileto has their story.
