Person shot at Laney College in Oakland, report says
Police are investigating a shooting at Laney College in Oakland on Thursday, NBC Bay Area reported, citing police.The shooting happened before noon at the community college near Lake Merritt. Details on the shooting were not immediately available. Oakland police are planning an update at 1:30 p.m. The shooting comes a day after a student was shot at Skyline High School in Oakland. The student is expected to recover.
