One person injured after a shooting
One person is seriously injured after a shooting on 48th Street and Lafayette Avenue. KETV was on scene a little before 5 a.m. Sunday morning and spoke with Omaha police Lieutenant Sean Sheridan.Sheridan said when officers arrived on the scene, they found a single male victim with a gunshot wound to his arm. The victim was transported to Nebraska Medicine.Police say they are currently working to learn suspect information, evidence and witnesses, as the shooting is still an active investigation.
