One man dead, one critical following double shooting in Philadelphia's East Mount Airy neighborhood

One man is dead, and another is in critical condition following a shooting in Philadelphia's East Mount Airy section.

It happened just after midnight on Wednesday on the 1300 block of East Johnson Street.

A 42-year-old man was found shot multiple times inside an SUV. Investigators say he also had two guns in his possession.

A second victim, a 36-year-old male, arrived at the hospital by private vehicle, where he later died.

Police say at least 11 shots were fired during the incident, and one vehicle was also struck by gunfire.

They believe both men were shot in the same area.

The identities of the two victims have not yet been released.

No arrests have been made.
