Omaha police say shooting victim dies at hospital, investigation underway
Omaha police confirmed one person shot Tuesday night has died at the hospital.Emergency officials say the call first came in just before 8:30 p.m. on Hamilton Street near N. 56th Street. Medics took a man to the hospital with CPR in progress. He was later pronounced dead. Omaha police say they are investigating if robbery may be a factor in the shooting. Officers are looking to interview possible witnesses and view potential security camera footage.There have been no arrests at this time.
