Omaha police say man injured after shooting, suspect still at large
Omaha police are searching for a suspect after a shooting injured a man on Thursday morning.Around 9 a.m., officers responded to a home near 75th Street and Lake Cunningham Road. Investigators said officers found an adult man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper body.Omaha police said the man was taken to a local hospital.Officers are conducting interviews at the scene. Omaha police said they have a description of the vehicle, but the suspect is still at large. "The suspect involved in this incident is a known suspect so we have officers actively looking for that suspect at this time. We have not made an arrest in this incident at this time," Lt. Alan Peatrowsky said.Omaha police said it appears the incident was some kind of family disturbance.
