Omaha police: Levi Carter Park shooting victim dies at hospital
Omaha police say a woman found shot in Levi Carter Park Sunday has died. OPD says Dequrae Murrel died at the hospital Monday. Police say Murrel was found just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday at Kelly's Liquor on North 30th Street. Officers believe she was shot at Levi Carter Park. They say other victims were found with superficial wounds. The OPD Homicide Unit is now investigating the shooting.
