
An Omaha man who was wanted for placing a faulty bomb under a captain's truck at the Tecumseh State Correctional Facility is dead following a shootout with law enforcement in Montana. According to court records, on April 1, 27-year-old Breighton Miller placed two propane tanks under the pickup along with a smoking object. He then drove away. Miller previously served time at the facility in Tecumseh and was released last September.On April 3, Montana troopers were notified that Miller was near Big Timber and had a warrant for a charge out of Johnson County, Nebraska, for placing a false bomb.Montana Highway Patrol said a trooper located Miller and backup was called in. They tried to initiate a traffic stop, but authorities said Miller fled the scene.Law enforcement then tried to stop him again, but Montana Highway Patrol said Miller fired shots at troopers.
