Two men were shot in the head and killed after gunfire erupted in Queens late Friday evening.
The deadly shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. on 116th Road in South Jamaica.
Upon arrival, officers found two men, ages 37 and 41, both with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responded and pronounced the 37-year-old man dead at the scene.
First responders transported the 41-year-old victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he later died.
Police say they are investigating the relationship between the two victims. The identity of the victims are being withheld pending family notification.
There are currently no arrests as authorities now try to determine a motive for the shooting.
