A North Chicago man was arrested and charged for selling meth out of a home daycare, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said.
This was allegedly happening at a home near 21st Street and Wright Avenue in North Chicago.
Undercover detectives say they bought meth from Delwin Hodge, 27, and they later found drug materials and an unsecured gun at his home Thursday.
Police said several people live at the home, and it's unclear who owns the gun.

Hodge faces multiple charges and is being held in jail before his court hearing.
He was on parole at the time of his arrest, police said.
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services has been notified.
"It is absolutely unacceptable for anyone to traffic dangerous drugs in our community, especially from a home where children are present. The fact that methamphetamine was being sold and a firearm was left accessible in a daycare environment is beyond reckless," Sheriff John D. Idleburg said.
