Newark police shooting: Suspect shot by NJ officers during apparent exchange of gunfire
One suspect was shot by Newark police on Monday afternoon in what appears to be an exchange of gunfire.
The suspect was rushed to University Hospital in Newark. Their condition is not yet known.
No police officers were hit by gunfire and they are being evaluated.
The Essex County prosecutor's office is investigating.
