New organization launches Sacramento chapter to empower Black men

The Black Executive Men nationwide support group aims to transform the corporate landscape for Black men with its dynamic and empowering approach.Dedicated to fostering success and professional advancement, the organization, founded in 2024, offers a supportive environment for building meaningful connections, sharing insights and achieving career goals.Donnie Royal, a biopharmaceutical executive and the Black Executive Men, Sacramento Regional Leader joined KCRA 3 Wednesday morning."The authentic networking and friendship component of it all helps us reach and tap into our potential," Royal said "Reaching the C suite is the ultimate goal. We have a lot of midlevel managers...but how many CEO and CFO are out there for Black men?" Founded on excellence, l.eadership, and solidarity, Black Executive Men (BEM) offers a platform featuring quarterly socials, educational workshops and networking events.Beyond mere career advancement, BEM is committed to breaking barriers and creating a legacy of empowerment. By uniting like-minded individuals, the community amplifies its strength, paving the way for future generations of Black male leaders.Having launched the Sacramento chapter in mid-September 2024, BEM held its first social event on Oct. 4, 2024, at the Grange Restaurant & Bar.
