Nebraska authorities investigate armed bank robbery in Saunders County

Authorities said they are investigating an armed bank robbery Tuesday in Saunders County. The FBI, Nebraska State Patrol, and the Saunders County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident at Community State Bank in Cedar Bluffs.The Saunders County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to the bank around 9:46 a.m.Bank employees told deputies that two men entered the bank, forced employees into the vault and stole money, authorities said. One of the employees reported having a gun held to their back, authorities said.KETV NewsWatch 7 confirmed that a school in the area was on a brief hold after the incident occurred.Investigators said they believe a silver or gold Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am was involved in the robbery. The vehicle is believed to have been spotted heading south on Highway 275, according to authorities.
