A driver has been sentenced for his role in a St. Louis crash that killed a Chicago mother and daughter after a Drake concert last year.

That crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on February 14, 2024.

Monte Henderson allegedly ran a red light while speeding and sideswiped a car before hitting the women, who were walking back from the Enterprise Center, where Drake performed that night.

Laticha Bracero, 42, died on the scene, and her daughter, Alyssa Cordova, 21, died at a nearby hospital.

Henderson was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of armed civilian action, along with a misdemeanor count of DWI.

Henderson has been sentenced to 21 years in prison, court records show.
