Metra UPNW delays: Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line line delayed after train, vehicle crash in Arlington Heights, officials say

A Metra train line was delayed Saturday evening after a crash in the north suburbs.

The Union Pacific Northwest Line (UPNW) line is experiencing delays after a train and a vehicle crashed near Arlington Heights Road and Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights, Metra said.

Metra issued an alert to passengers, saying, "UPNW train #725, scheduled to arrive Harvard at 8:20 PM, will not operate past Cumberland due to a vehicle struck by a train. Train #727 will accommodate customers to Harvard. Visit MetraTracker.com for the location of your train."
