Marvin Wicker: Family seeks justice after man gunned down in Hunting Park

Marvin Wicker's family is seeking the public's help in solving their loved one's murder.

"It's tearing me apart, I want justice for my brother," says Wicker's sister, Bernadette Gay.

The 60-year-old man was gunned down on the 3400 block of Goodman Street in Hunting Park at 3 a.m. on Monday August 5th, 2024.

He had been shot at least three times.

Wicker died a short time later from his injuries.

"Ask someone to come forward, drop a tip, get this person off the streets before he takes another life," says Gay.

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the shooting death of Marvin Wicker.

They ask that you give them a call if you saw anything that night.
