Police arrested an armed man at a north suburban airport on Friday afternoon.
Schaumburg police said officers responded to Schaumburg Regional Airport for a disturbance involving a man with a gun around 2:30 p.m.
Police said the man was in a restricted parking area at the airport on West Irving Park Road, and he was talking with airport employees.
Officers took the man into custody.

No one was hurt, and airport operations were not disrupted.
Police said this was an isolated incident, and they are investigating.
