Man swings at person with sword before trying to burn him with torch, Stockton police say
Stockton police are looking for a man believed to have attacked someone with a sword and a torch.The attack was reported around 3 p.m. Sunday in the 4900 block of South State Route 99 Frontage Road, the Stockton Police Department said.A 60-year-old man in that area got into an argument with someone else, who proceeded to swing a sword at him, police said. When he missed, he then tried to burn the 60-year-old with a torch.Police said the suspected assailant fled before officers arrived, but no one was injured. A detailed description of the man was not released.Details on what led to the altercation are also not known.See news happening?
