Man shot near University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia's University City section
Gunfire injured a man near the University of Pennsylvania campus on Tuesday night.
It happened at 40th and Walnut Streets in Philadelphia's University City section just after 10 p.m.
Philadelphia police say a man, not affiliated with the university, was shot in the arm outside the side door of the Cinemark movie theater.
He was taken to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
It is unclear who shot him or why.
